Has anyone heard about this? Are there any thoughts? tl;dr The Boy Scouts Of America actually have a special congressional law that allows them to sue other organizations for just using the word "Scouts".

I doubt they will care about us, we're not big and we aren't mainstream. I'm also curious as to why they haven't gone after some of the other scouting organizations.

I hope you're right. But pictures have a tendency to travel to unexpected places on the interwebs. Now that so many troops are forming, I don't think we'll fly under the radar much longer. And knowing how anti-LGBT the BSA is, we'd be a prime target.

True. If worse comes to worse, I'm sure that another term can be found, but I'm hoping that even if we get more visible, they wouldn't want to bring attention to us, especially since we're not even an official business or non-profit.

That's terrible. But I have seen Scouts post a word like this "We are not affiliated with Boy/Girl Scouts of America by any means." Or something like that. I guess if everyone puts that at the end of their writing when talking about the Little Scouts, and if all pages makes it clear, then it won't be an issue.
Personally, I love the name "Little Scouts."
