Today's Little Scouts event took us to Camp Pendleton's Paintball Park. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze coming off the ocean. The park had a lot of visitors by the time noon rolled around. Those of us who attended had a blast. Our battle scars were little round welts where the paintball made contact. Our PsyckLittlePuppy got a few nice splatters on her face mask and she got to taste what paintball paint tastes like and said it was bitter. It's been years since I played and it made me get the chance to break out all my paintball gear. With everything I was wearing HisLittlePrincess said that I looked like a video game. After all was said and done, a lady tried to give us free park passes for the paintball park that expired in 14 days. I told her that we won't be back during that time and suggested that the Marines who were off playing on one of the fields should have them since they live on base and have better access. On the way out of the park I saw them walking back and I told them about the passes. I think it made their day because it looked like they were enjoying themselves. Anyways while we were there I got to snap a few photos of us before heading out for some more games.
