Hey there!
I'm KatorK (also on Fetlife if anyone wants to check out my page, same username). I have been in the Little community and kink community officially 5 years now! For a while I was also a Little content creator on Instagram, I hadn't gotten super popular, but I had a decent following. Unfortunately I had to step back for a while due to personal reasons. I have also hosted multiple Little events, and a few other types of events (through Fetlife).
Currently, a friend and I are looking to start a Little Scouts Troop in our area (Charlotte, NC) because we know a lot of Little's and want to be able to have fun together, educate, and do good for each other and other's we don't know yet! We do want to try to make our group as accessible as possible, in all manners but also financially.
I was hoping to get some advice on getting started, ideas for starter events, tips on growing while also not overwhelming ourselves or others that join (which I don't see growing being too much of an issue, but still), and accessibility? Do we need to start our own website and what is recommended in terms of that? Should we be trying to become an official Little Scouts Troop, and what does that process look like? And any other good information to have or general tips?
I am grateful to have a very supportive network of people around me, and have been able to develop my Little/Middle/Pet spaces quite thoroughly and to have been able to meet such a wide variety of people who have similar spaces, even if unfortunately they don't have that network or the space to express themselves. I want to make this group as positive and happy and safe for as many people as possible.
